Label TextThis wallpaper is printed with nursery rhyme vignettes in the style of Walter Crane's book The Baby's Opera. Many similar wallpapers were produced in England and the United States in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Though produced in Britain, this roll was donated by the daughter of American illustrator Bertha Corson Day Bates and may have been designed by Bates.
