Label TextHeadlights on Westriver Drive 1 is one of five prints given to the Museum by the artist's widow in 2006. These joined another work that has been in the collection since 1959.A pioneer in printmaking, Feldman ran the experimental Falcon Press and taught at the University of Pennsylvania. Headlights on Westriver Drive 1 is typical of his innovative approach. It is based on a photograph of cars moving on Westriver Drive in Philadelphia at night; the pattern in white was created by the headlights.
