British engraver, 1750–1784
BiographyBritish reproductive etcher and engraver (1750-1784). Little is known of the life of Robert Blyth other than that he studied under John Hamilton Mortimer (1741-1777) and that the majority of his etchings were made after his Mortimer's designs between 1774 and 1782. His style of etching was free and graceful.
