Ida Binney

American painter and printmaker, 1912–2003
BiographyBorn in New York City and raised in Silvermine, near Stamford, Connecticut, Ida Binney became a printmaker, illustrator, and commercial artist. She produced color prints for the WPA and later attracted praise for her children's book, Boppet! Please Stop It about an energetic puppy that wants a child.
