Label TextOhio native Harry James Keys began his newspaper career with the now defunct Akron Times early in the 1900's, then moving to the Youngstown Telegram a short time later. He subsequently worked for the Scripps-Howard news service with the Oklahoma News. He moved to Columbus, Ohio in 1911 where he created cartoons for the Citizen and then for the Dispatch.
