Label TextJulius Rolshoven was an American painter who divided his time between Florence, Italy, Detroit, and Santa Fe, New Mexico, where he painted rather romantic depictions of Native Americans. He was a member of the Taos Society of Artists and helped found the Museum of Fine Arts.
