Label TextThis vase was created by the Watcombe Pottery, originally known as The Watcombe Terra-Cotta Clay Company, started by G J Allen in 1871 in Torquay, Devon. Pots created by the firm utilized the red clay found around the local area. The company was quickly successful both at home and internationally. The color and floral decoration are typical of Watcombe ware.
