Label TextThese drawings, made on stationary from Sloan's Philadelphia studio, were identified by Helen Farr Sloan as sketches for Charles Paul de Kock's novels, illustrated by Sloan between 1902 and 1906. These sketches likely date from 1902 to 1904, as Sloan relocated to New York in the spring of 1904.
