Label TextWhile the flapper—with her boyish curveless dresses—dominated 1920s fashions, a variety of styles were popular. Skirt lengths fluctuated in women's evening attire, sportswear, and work suits. Waists were placed low or not at all on the figure. But despite the variety, women's 1920s fashions all broke free of the physical and social constraints of the previous decades.
