Label TextIn a review in The Bookman from 1917, Amos Stote noted that this subject--the iron tracery balconies of New Orleans--was particularly appropriate for etching: "the reserve of the copper plate gives an enduring charm to the graceful curves and flowing design of these old Creole structures."
