Label TextBacon studied with John Sloan at the Art Students League. It was a particularly vibrant time at the institution: her other instructors included Kenneth Hayes Miller and George Bellows, and her fellow classmates included Yasuo Kuniyoshi and Andrew Dasburg. In her print, Bacon captures the energy of her charismatic, young teacher as he critiques a collection of student pictures.
