Label TextIn the early 1920s, professional football was riddled with problems, including rising salaries, players moving from team to team, and college students playing while still enrolled in school. This cartoon underscores all of these issues. In 1920 the irst professional football conference was founded and by 1922 the National Football League had been established to systematize the industry.
