Label TextLittle is known of the life of the British etcher and engraver Robert Blyth other than that he studied under John Hamilton Mortimer (1741-1777). Many of his etchings were made after his Mortimer's designs, as is the case in this instance. This image is printed from a drawing of the same title by Mortimer currently in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.
