Label TextThis is a study for a mural commissioned by the State of Delaware and now located in the Delaware Public Archives in Dover. It is Stanley Arthurs' fictional recreation of the meeting of Generals Ulysses S. Grant and Robert E. Lee facing each other at the close of the Civil War.
