Label TextHarvey Dunn's illustration occupied half of a full-page advertisement in "The Saturday Evening Post" for Du Pont's Duco paint. The text used the circus to introduce the benefits of the product: "All the world loves a circus, the glamour, the romance, the blazing, flashing color...And today when we think of color, the radiant reds and yellows of the circus, or cool greens and blues, we think of the product which makes possible lasting color and has given to the world an infinite variety of shades. We think of Duco, created in the laboratories of Du Pont."
