Label TextThis was designed as the upper right quadrant of a full-page newspaper illustration and was produced to work around text and photographic imagery. For the upper left section Sloan depicted another different castle, and across the bottom was battle of women on horseback. The open circles were filled with photos. Combining all these elements required the use of a rotogravure press. This complex process was frequently reserved for the Sunday supplements of newspapers.
