Label TextFranklin Morris Howarth began his career at Puck and later worked for the Hearst newspapers. In 1903, he began his continuing-story comic Lulu and Leander. Four years later, he created Ole Dopey Dildock-The Storyteller, which at his death was taken up by another artist. He also created the series E.Z. Mark.
