Label TextThese large water lilies are on display in the Princess Diana House at Kew. Commonly known as prickly waterlily, Euryale ferox is a species of water lily found in freshwater ponds in southern and eastern Asia. It has huge leaves--with diameters from three to nine feet--and edible seeds called fox nuts.
