This portfolio was primarily the work of Wilmington artist Robert Shaw between 1904 and 1910, but Fincken took over when Shaw’s eyesight began failing.The subject is Mount Gulian, the homestead of the Dutch Verplanck family in Hudson Valley.James Gillray
