Label TextCharles Parks is best known for his figurative sculptures that adorn private gardens and public spaces throughout the United States. Parks’ elfin creature is a personification of the robust milling industry that flourished along the lower Brandywine Creek in southeastern Pennsylvania and Delaware in the 18th and 19th centuries.
