Label TextAfter studies at the school of the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington and at the Art Students League in New York, Ovie Rush had been a magazine illustrator for almost ten years when she attended Howard Pyle's school of illustration in Wilmington from 1904 to 1910 to perfect her skills. Further study in Europe followed. From 1914 forward, she was an exhibiting artist associated primarily with New Mexico.
