Patty experiences various travels, adventures, and domestic dramas with a recurring cast of characters. In this scene, she is following clues in a mysterious plot. Clara D. Davidson was a student at the Women's Art School of Cooper Union and the Art Students League in New York City before her four years of study and travel in Europe. Produced in her Manhattan studio, her illustrations appeared in several popular magazines. She also widely exhibited her drawings and paintings.
