Label TextAs the accompanying package explains, this drawing was created while Tuttle was in Santa Barbara for his 1979 solo show, An Exhibition of the Work of Richard Tuttle, at the College of Creative Studies, University of California. He sent the work to the Vogels in 1981, advising them to mount the sketch directly to the wall.
