Label TextDale Chihuly’s Persian Window was commissioned by the Delaware Art Museum to welcome visitors through a colorful archway of vibrant glass forms. Chihuly is renowned for his use of glass to create large-scale installations within public and natural settings. Chihuly’s Persian series draws inspiration from Islamic glass traditions while recalling organic forms such as flowers or creatures from the sea.
