Jessie Joy (Neeley) (1924–1984) was one of the artists and founders of Neeley Associates, a publishing and advertising design company created in 1946 with her husband William (Bill) Neeley, whom she met at the Art Students League. From 1946 through the 1960s, she illustrated for magazine fiction and books, newspapers, and advertisements. In addition, she taught at New York City Montessori schools in the early 1960s, and at the Famous Artists School in Westport, CT, in the late 1960s and early 1970s. She left Bill Neeley Associates Inc. when Bill Neeley died in 1970, and became an independent art representative until her death.
