Mariluise Barz

Jewelry designer Mariluise Barz was president of the Society of Connecticut Craftsmen, board members of the American Craftsmen's Council, and taught classes in jewelry making at the Brookfield Craft Center in the 1970s. She was the 1966 winner of the National Merit Award, and her work was included in the 1967 11th Annual Contemporary Craft for Christmas Giving Exhibition at the Delaware Art Museum. She exhibited throughout the United States at Galleries Greif in Baltimore, among others, and her work is included in the collection of the Delaware Art Museum.
