Kenneth Evett

Kenneth Evett received his master's degree in painting from Colorado College in 1939 and continued his studies under George Biddle and Henry Varnum Poor at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center. The artist worked as an easel painter for the Works Progress Administration and received commissions from the Treasury Department to paint murals for post offices in the West. Evett taught at Cornell University from 1948 until his retirement in 1980.
