Paul EshelmanAmerican wood craftsman and professor, 1906–1977

Paul Eshelman is a well-known wood craftsman and past professor in the Industrial Arts Department at Millersville State College (now Millersville University) in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Eshelman was one of five woodworkers whose work was featured in the American Pavilion of the 1958 Brussels World’s Fair. The other four participants were Wharton Esherick, Bob Stocksdale, James Prestini, and Bruno Groth. He was also featured in The American Craftsman, a significant craft exhibition held at the Museum of Contemporary Craft in New York City from May 22 through September 13, 1964. Eshelman showed in craft shows at the Delaware Art Museum between 1957 and 1959.
