Deborah Willis

Deborah Willis is a distinguished photographer, author, and historian. She serves as University Professor and Chair of the Department of Photography & Imaging at the Tisch School of Arts at New York University and has written numerous books on photography and the work of African American photographers. Her work has been the subject of exhibitions throughout the United States and abroad, and in 2000 Willis received the John D. and Catherine R. MacArthur Fellowship.
