Chester MichalikAmerican photographer, born 1935

MIchalik earned his BS at the Massachusetts College of Art and received his MFA from Boston University. He taught at Rhode Island School of Design, Imageworks School of Photography in Cambridge, and Smith College. He primarily photographs industrial and urbanized subjects, and has documented his “personal interpretations” of Las Vegas, Japanese cities, and military air shows. He has exhibited throughout the United States and his work is included in the International Museum of Photography in Rochester, NY, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Library of Congress, and the Museum of Fine Art, Houston.
