Allan D'Arcangelo

Allan D'Arcangelo is an American Pop artist best known for his paintings and prints of highways and road signs. D'Arcangelo was born in Buffalo in 1930 and studied at the University of Buffalo and later in Mexico City. His first solo exhibition was held at the Fischbach Gallery in 1963, and his work was shown throughout the United States and abroad and is included in numerous museum collections.
