Charles Ginnever

Ginnever was best known for large-scale, abstract, steel sculptures. Born in California, Ginnever studied at the Académie de la Grande Chaumière in Paris and at the California School of Fine Arts. By 1960, Ginnever was working primarily in steel and engaging the space around his sculptures by using open forms.
