Erin EndicottAmerican artist, born 1971
Erin Endicott obtained her bachelor of fine art's degree in textile design from Moore College of Art and Design and received a New Jersey State Council of the Arts fellowship in 2012. Her work has been exhibited in numerous solo exhibitions in venues throughout the northeast including the Fleisher Art Memorial, the Delaware Center for the Contemporary Arts, and the Hunterdon Art Museum. Endicott uses vintage fabrics passed down through her family, staining the cloth with walnut ink and layering organic forms by drawing and stitching directly onto the fabric. Her delicate creations speak to history, memory, and traditional notions of women’s work.
