José Pedro Gil Moreno de Mora

Gil was born to a family of Spanish bankers in Paris, where he became a disciple of the French illustrator and printmaker Maurice Achener. In 1931, Gil illustrated an edition of Miguel de Cervantes' Constance: L'Illustre Servante.
