Caroline Speare Rohland

Born in Boston, Rohland attended the Museum School there before moving to New York where she studied at the Art Students League with Andrew Dasburg. For a time she lived and worked in the artist colony of Woodstock, New York, where she met her future husband, the painter Paul Rohland. Later in life, she split her time between California and New York.
