Saul RaskinAmerican printmaker and illustrator, 1878–1966

Russian-born Saul Raskin immigrated to the United States after studies and travel in Europe. Once in New York City, he became a cartoonist and caricaturist for several Yiddish publications. He was also a prolific illustrator and watercolorist, writer, and lecturer. Much of his work centered on his Jewish identity.
