James GrossAmerican painter, born 1950
A native to Wichita, James (Jim) Gross received his MA and MFA degrees from Wichita State University. He also received his teaching certificate from Friends University. He has taught for 44 years and began studies at the Wichita Art Association in 1961. Gross' works are in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art, and the Smithsonian American Art Museum, among other gallery affiliations in NYC.
