Paul Binnie

Paul Binnie was born at Airthrey Castle, Scotland in 1967 and attended Edinburgh University and Edinburgh College of Art, obtaining his master's degree in 1990. Following a trip to Paris in the late 1980s, Binnie developed an interest in Japanese woodblock prints. The artist moved to Tokyo in 1993 and studied with Seki Kenji. Binnie returned to London in 1998 where he continues to create prints and paintings based on the figure and natural environment.
