Elise KaufmanAmerican artist, born 1961

Elisa Kaufman received her undergraduate degree from Pratt Institute and her master of fine arts degree from Queens College, CUNY in 1992. She is currently a visiting professor of drawing at Pratt Institute and has held faculty positions at Parsons School of Design and Dowling College in the past. Kaufman's first solo exhibition was presented in Ireland in 1990 and she has continued to be represented in solo and group shows throughout the greater mid-Atlantic region and abroad. Her delicate drawings of evolving architecture and landscapes are included in the public collections of The Birmingham Museum of Art, the Delaware Art Museum, and the Fogg Museum at Harvard University, among others.
