Frank Badur

Frank Badur was born in Oranienburg, Germany and studied painting at the School of Fine Arts in Berlin. He is a founding member of the international group, Systhema, and was appointed professor at the University of the Arts in Berlin in 1985. Badur has participated in numerous international biennial exhibitions including the Venice Biennale and the Los Angeles International Biennial. In addition to being the subject of numerous solo exhibitions, Badur's work is included in the collections of the Arkansas Arts Center, the Kunstmuseum Düsseldorf, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and the Yale University Art Gallery, among many others.
