Jules PascinBulgarian painter, draftsman, and printmaker, 1885–1930, active in France

Born Julius Mordecai Pincas in Bulgaria, Pascin was educated in Vienna before traveling to Munich for art school. He traveled through the United States during World War I and again in the 1920s. He is most associated with Paris, in particular with the modernist movement in Montparnasse.
