Charles A. ColomboAmerican artist, 1927–2015
Wilmington artist Charles Colombo studied with his uncle Charles DeFeo and Frank Schoonover, and with John McCoy at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. For 20 years he maintained a career in commercial art as well as painting independently. He painted primarily in watercolor, often on Japanese tissue. Colombo had a solo exhibition at the Delaware Art Museum in 1971.
