John PackAmerican photographer, born 1951

John Pack is director of the Aegean Center, an art school in Paros, Greece. He hails from the Brandywine Valley and began to study photography in the San Francisco area. He was mentored by Ansel Adams and lived on the Ganado Navajo Reservation for several years before becoming an instructor at the University of New Mexico's Gallup branch. In 1983 he moved to Greece to teach photography at the Aegean Center, becoming director the following year.
