Alfred Everitt OrrAmerican artist, 1886–1938?
Alfred Everitt Orr was born in 1886 in New York, was active in San Gabriel, CA , around 1919 to 1925, and then settled in John Singer Sargent's old studio in London. According to press reports from the time, over 1,600,000 copies were circulated of Orr's 1918 Liberty Loan poster captioned "For Home and Family." In the 1930s, he was known as a portrait painter.
