Gordon DeaconAmerican printmaker, 20th century

During the Great Depression of the 1930s, Deacon made a series of linoleum block prints for the Philadelphia Public Works of Art Project. His work was shown at the Brooklyn Museum in 1929 in an exhibition of American Block Prints coordinated by the Print Club of Philadelphia.
