Gerald Kenneth GeerlingsAmerican printmaker and architect, 1897–1998
Trained in architecture at the University of Pennsylvania, Geerlings began making prints in 1928, while working as an architect. He eventually traveled to London to study printmaking at the Royal College of Art. His prints from the late 1920s and early 1930s feature glamorous images of modern cities and skyscrapers.
