Louis BouchéAmerican painter and teacher, 1896–1969

Bouché was a painter, muralist, and teacher at the Art Students League and the National Academy of Design in New York. He grew up in Paris and studied art there before attending the Art Students League in New York in 1915. In the 1920s, he managed the Belmaison Galleries in Wanamaker's New York department store. He painted murals for Radio City Music Hall and for the Federal Art Project in various public buildings.
