Lyle Justis

Edgar Lyle Justis was a book and magazine illustrator. He contributed works of illustration to magazines such as Collier's, Ladies Home Journal, and Holiday. Justis additionally worked as an advertising artist for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, United Artists, and various department stores. He maintained studios in both Philadelphia and New York. A veteran of the first World War, Justis was also known to teach drawing classes for fellow veterans at Valley Forge Hospital.
