Jamie Wyeth is an American realist painter and the son of Andrew Wyeth and grandson of N.C. Wyeth. The artist is well known for his portraits of celebratory figures—Andy Warhol, John F. Kennedy, and Rudolf Nureyev—and scenes from his native Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania. Wyeth is included in numerous public and private collections throughout the United States and the first major museum retrospective of his work was organized and travelled by the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston from 2014 to 2015.
