Léon RichetonBritish printmaker, 1854–1934

Little is known of Richeton. He was elected a Fellow of Haden’s Society of Painter-Etchers on 7th May 1881 and his membership ceased on the 19th November 1889. He produced works for P.G. Hamerton’s The Portfolio, etched illustrations for Alfred Egmont Hake's Paris Originals..., London, 1878. He also produced an etched portrait of Thomas Carlyle (1870).
